Workshops

The Pilot House Education Series provides parents and staff with information, strategies and techniques to improve the day to day lives of a child with special needs. The workshops focus on communication, social interactions, behavior, advocacy, sensory needs and more.

We believe that parents and staff together play a crucial role in the education, development and success of each child.

Parent Support Group:  Parents will meet in an informal group led by psychologist Laurel Carey to discuss relevant topics and shared experiences of raising a child with special needs.

This group is open to all current TPH members and will meet the first Wednesday evening of each month at our facility located at 240 Colony Street, Fairfield.

The next group meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 7th at 6:30pm to 8:00pm.  Childcare will be available for those who need it for ages 4+.  You must register for this group and indicate whether or not you need childcare.  Call (203) 292-8452 to register. Siblings are welcome.
